 ANIMAL FARM

The farm is home to all manner of furry and feathery creatures, from the endearingly sweet to the slightly wilder. The animals are mainly traditional farm animals, representing indigenous breeds. 

 

You can visit the farm's furry and feathered pens at specially arranged times, and you can also pet and hold the animals on a guided tour.

UPPIS

Uppis is a Finnish horse and mum's favourite and the nobility of therapy rats. Uppis' calm and unhurried nature makes him feel safe and he is also very considerate in grooming situations. Uppis works well both in leash riding and as a traction horse for cart rides.

WAGNER THE PIG

The Wagner pig is a Hungarian wild boar, the Mangalitza. Although Wagner is a ferociously scary-looking pig, inside Wagner lives a gentle and friendly little pig. Wagner is enjoying his life alone for now and dreams of getting Wagner his own piggy pig friend.

LAMBS TYYNE, RUUSU, MOLLA JA ROHMU

In the company of gentle and sociable Finnish lambs, it is nice to stop for a moment to enjoy some fur therapy. The sheep are soft and fluffy

MILLI

Milli is the mother cat of the stable. Milli loves to be petted and cuddled, Milli always shows up when there are pet sitters in sight. Milli is also an efficient mole catcher and keeps the farm pests at bay.

Notre Dame lives in a stable but she doesn't care so much for human company except when a special treat is on offer.

TAURUS JA TURBO

Ducks are super-sympathetic. Ducks love to swim, whenever there's a bit of water around. These wobbly swimming masters excel especially at swimming in the sheep's water bowl... secretly. Ducks tend to lay big, good eggs that make excellent cakes.

UNELMA, UTELIAS,TILDA JA TIMJAMI

The cows are East Finnish cattle, a breed of Finnish origin. Cows eat and moo and enjoy life just by being. They are happy when their bellies are full and there is a clean, dry place to lie and good cow companionship available. So that's the secret of a cow's happiness.

POJU

Poju is a Finnish horse and even more specifically a Finnish small horse. His sire is the sire of Vuohimäki Havu, a champion sorrel rider. Poju is good at riding. Poju is a kind and humble but sensitive horse.

PUHURI

Puhuri is a Finnish horse, Uppis's nephew and best friend. The horse is a herd animal and its natural needs include scratching and cuddling with a friend. Puhuris main job is to act as a buddy and also as a cross-country horse when we go riding.

Alexandra is a Brahma breed chicken who is very kind and curious by nature.

LITTLE CHICKENS

These little chickens are of the Mille Fleur breed and are very beautiful, they also have very pretty tufted feet. Sometimes the little chickens lay tiny little eggs which are very sweet. Pehtoori Multanen is a small but characterful rooster named after the owner of the estate, the Pehtoori.
